Young Sheldon’s Missy Cooper unveils career change with new face reveal as they come out as queer

In a dramatic twist,… took a risk to unveil their true identity which left the gaming community stunned.
Raegan Revord, who plays Missy Cooper on young sheldon ,dropped a trailer-like video X, formerly known as which left fans buzzing. The star, who despite their character’s gender, Raegan uses they/them pronouns, made an announcement on an alternative X account under the name SettingSunset, branding themselves as a content creator.
Under the guise of Sunset, Raegan was interacting with a vibrant gaming community with streams of Minecraft, Stardew Valley, and more. Before the big face reveal, Raegan’s X account was only sitting at a handful of followers but blew up to 30,000 seemingly overnight after they made their bold video.
In the video, they wrote: “I’ve been online for over two years. Making content. Meeting friends. Faceless. Have you ever wondered who’s behind the screen? More content. IRL streams. Vlogs. Videos with friends. Coming soon.”

With a dramatic turn in their chair, Raegan showed the camera her face for the first time before adding, “A new era.” In a subtle diss at YouTuber Raegan concluded: “Anyways… back to coding.”
Their close friends turned out in droves to brag that they already knew about the big secret while many were left perplexed. Raegan’s community grew instantly, but those who knew them before couldn’t fathom their star status. “now what do you mean missy cooper is a faceless twitch streamer and a they/them lesbian,” wrote one person on X. Another added: “missy cooper’s actress being a non binary lesbian twitch streamer is the absolute best thing to come out of young sheldon.”
A third fan compared the revelation to “a real-life Hannah Montana” as, like the star in the tween television show, Raegan was living a double life.
Raegan’s video came amid ongoing online discourse surrounding Dream, shifting the shock in the gaming world onto a new target. After all, the internet spent the last several days hashing out drama between Dream and countless other creators, especially who spearheaded the outrage.
Although the Missy Cooper reveal may overshadow the downfall, they did continue to stun fans with the revelation that they aren’t Team Dream. A fan wrote: “missy cooper is a dranti??? no… jack and harry probably forced them to become one…”
