Young Sheldon’s Montana Jordan Reveals Engagement to Jenna Weeks: ‘The Light of My Life’

Montana, 21, announced the news in a Sunday, January 5, sharing a series of photos from the proposal. He stood in front of a sign reading “Marry me” in a field covered with rose petals, getting down on one knee and presenting TikTok star Jenna, 21, with a diamond ring. She happily showed off her new bling in the snapshots.
“To the Woman I love most. You are the light of my life, Sweetheart,” Montana began in the caption. “I love you to the moon and back a million times and more. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for us and our family.”
Montana and Jenna welcomed a daughter on May 21, 2024. In an holding his newborn, the actor wrote, “God has blessed me with a beautiful babygirl. Emma Rae Jordan, Momma and Daddy love you. Forever and always.”
Costars of the Longview, Texas, native shared their congratulations about Montana’s engagement.
“This is so wonderful and I’m so happy for you!!!” Iain Armitage, who played Sheldon, wrote in the comments along with a red heart emoji.
Raegan Revord, who starred as Missy, added, “I’m crying!! I’m so happy for you guys!! Love you both so much!!” along with a red heart and celebration emojis.
Montana landed the role of Georgie Cooper, Sheldon’s older brother, in Young Sheldon in March 2017. He appeared in all seven seasons of spinoff, which came to an end in May 2024.
His character married Emily Osment‘s Mandy McAllister in the show’s final season. The duo scored a spinoff, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, which premiered on October 17, 2024.
Montana and Jenna began dating when they were high school seniors. He opened up about becoming a first-time dad in a September 2024 interview.
“It’s been great for me, man. There’s nothing better,” he told “She’s four months old now and I’ve got two little nieces, a five-year-old niece and a two-year-old niece. So I’ve been around kids and I’ve always loved them, but I can give my nieces back.”
“I can’t give mine back. I’m stuck with her,” he laughed. “I’m just kidding. No, but she’s great, man. There’s nothing better than freaking being a dad. There’s nothing better, for sure.”
During the same interview, Montana explained what viewers could expect from his CBS spinoff.
“I mean, coming into Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, you can kind of tell what it’s going to be about from the characters of Young Sheldon, but we’re going to continue that storyline, and you get to see all the fights and all the ups and downs of everything,” he revealed.
“And just like Young Sheldon was relatable, we’re hoping this is going to be just as relatable and that’s going to drag everybody into watching it,” Montana continued.
He added about starring alongside Emily, 32, on their own show, “We’ve always had great chemistry from the start. She’s a great person and very professional and everything, so it’s always been great working with her.”
