Melissa Peterman’s Brenda Sparks will return to the Young Sheldon spinoff. Emily Osment, who plays Mandy, posted a promo for the upcoming series on her Instagram…. we now have a sneak peek into her future role in the series. During a table read, Peterman can be seen with the cast. … has said, “Bringing back Brenda for Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is an inspired decision.” Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is set to premiere on October 17th on CBS.

Young Sheldon star Montana Jordan, who reprises his role in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, seems to be done talking about the spinoff’s title.

Brenda was incredibly controversial in the original series due to her involvement with George Cooper Sr. While his cheating scandal was downplayed from how it was described in The Big Bang Theory, Brenda’s relationship with George was romantically charged and caused problems between him and Mary. Now that George Sr. has passed away, Brenda’s role in the Georgie & Mandy series is up in the air.
