‘Head in the clouds’: Young Sheldon actor Iain Armitage and Yellowstone cast enjoy SA

  • Several international celebrities have been sharing their visits to South Africa on social media.
  • Young Sheldon actor Iain Armitage and the cast members from the show Yellowstone have made online posts about their time in SA.
  • The actors spent time in Cape Town, visiting wine farms, Signal Hill and Chapman’s Peak Drive.

South Africa has proven to be an attractive destination for international celebrities, whether it be work or leisure.

Young Sheldon actor Iain Armitage and the cast members from the show Yellowstone have posted about their time in South Africa on social media.

Armitage shared a video in March of himself on Cape Town’s Signal Hill, writing in the caption, “Head in the clouds

The following day, he shared a snap from Chapman’s Peak Drive in Hout Bay

“Yesterday I moved a mountain,” he wrote in the caption He later shared a post of himself at a  wine farm and photos of himself with a  snake on his arm .

He also met up with South African music trio  biko’s manna , who appeared on America’s Got Talent.

The group consists of Biko on vocals, Manna on guitar and Mfundo. Armitage and the sibling trio made a humorous TikTok using audio from Young Sheldon. They made…together about “considering a merger,” called Bazinga’s Manna.

Yellowstone cast members Denim Richards, who plays Colby, and Cole Hauser, who plays Rip, also visited a South African wine farm

The two actors went to the Lourensford Wine Estate, where the NV Film Studios Africa is also located

Richards previously shared on social media that he lives in Africa. He posted a video of a safari trip and compared it to pictures of the Waterfront with the caption

“What people think it looks like when I say I live in Africa vs what it actually is.”

“You’re playing yourself if you don’t come visit and see for yourself! Don’t believe what you see in the media. Both experiences can be true, but living in Africa isn’t wading yourself through hell and trauma,” he continued.

US singer Chloe Bailey also posted an image carousel of her time in the Mother City on Wednesday.

Images posted by Bailey show her spending time at nature reserves, going on safari tours, watching penguins and climbing Table Mountain.
