Later in the season, the Cooper family is struck with a tragedy that forces Sheldon to grapple with difficult emotions.
As viewers have gradually watched the final instalment, they have raved about the drama, with some describing it as a ‘classic’
An eager viewer shared their verdict on Rotten Tomatoes: “Young Sheldon Season 7 perfectly balances heartfelt moments with laugh-out-loud comedy, leaving you crying and laughing at the same time.
“An emotional and unforgettable ending to what has been a truly classic series of storytelling for generations to come.”

Another viewer echoed the praise, confessing that they were initially sceptical of the show: “A friend recommended this and I went in fully expecting to hate it. Much to my surprise, that didn’t happen. Young Sheldon has no right to be as charming as it is.”
Elsewhere, on social media, a fan pointed out the differences between the spin-off and its predecessor. They said: “Whoever decided to make Young Sheldon half comedy, half family drama did the right thing.
