Welcome To Plathville’s Micah & Moriah Are Repeating Their Family’s Patterns (Are They Selfish Like Kim Plath?)

Welcome To Plathville’s Micah Plath & Moriah Plath have grown up and stepped away from their family, but are they repeating the Plath’s patterns and acting selfishly like Kim Plath? Micah and Moriah, two of the older Plath siblings, have been creating their own identities away from their family, but their behavior has been strangely reminiscent of their parents. Kim and Barry Plath, who have nine children together and are in the midst of a long-drawn-out divorce, have raised their children in a way that’s pushed them away from the family at times but has drawn them back in at others.
While there’s consistently been serious drama with Ethan Plath, Kim & Barry’s oldest son, things have been calmer when it comes to Micah, Moriah, and some of the younger Plath siblings through the years. Now, with the Plath children having reached adulthood, Kim and Barry are seeing their kids come into their own and develop their own personalities, which can be difficult at times. Micah, who’s always been open to moving around and building his own life, is more independent, while Moriah, who calls herself a rebel, has always been more homebound. Both have, likely unexpectedly, repeated their family’s troubling patterns.

He Moved Away For His Girlfriend

Although Micah has been more supportive of the Plath family than Moriah in recent years, his time with them has been more limited in adulthood. A model, Welcome To Plathville’s Micah moved around frequently without a home base to crash on his adult life. Now, having moved back to the southeast after a stint in California, Micah has moved in with his girlfriend Veronica Peters in Florida, isolating himself from his family entirely. Much like his brother Ethan did with his now ex-wife Olivia Plath, Micah is choosing to prioritize his relationship in an unhealthy way, isolating himself from everything.

She’s Trying To Control Her Story
After years of their parents controlling the narrative and practicing their own unhealthy behavior, Micah and Moriah seem to be having a tough time breaking the Plath family cycle. With Kim being a selfish parent and Barry being a controlling one, Micah and Moriah have been practicing the behavior they saw their parents use when they were growing up, but it doesn’t seem to be having a good impact on their adult lives. With time, distance, and space from their parents, the Welcome To Plathville siblings could break the cycle, but they’d need to make that choice for themselves first.
