Young Sheldon…will be back with new episodes.
In October 2024, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage premiered, airing seven episodes to date before the show took a…hiatus through the holiday break. Serving as a follow-up to Young Sheldon, and de facto prequel to the big bang theory , Georgie & Mandy focuses on the oldest Cooper child Georgie (Montana Jordan), and his new role as a husband and father.
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is set after the events that happened in Young Sheldon. The show has been positively received by… and though it hasn’t been revealed if the series was renewed for season two, more information about season one episodes has.
Soon George & Mandy’s First Marriage is going to be back on-air to finish out its debut season. Later this month, fans will get episode eight of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, which will premiere on January 30. Titled Diet Crap, the episode will not only air on CBS, but it will also be streamable on Paramount+.

Episode nine, titled, A Tire Convention and the Moral High Ground will air on February 6, 2025, in addition to new episodes weekly every Thursday.
At first, it was unknown how long Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’s season would be. However, as of now, it’s been confirmed that the CBS program will get a full 22-episode order, according to MovieWeb. Aside from the two episodes following the mid-season hiatus, there isn’t much info on plotlines or episode names for the remainder of the show’s season.
Despite the minimal information, it has been confirmed that Pastor Jeff (Matt Hobby), a character from Young Sheldon, will be making a comeback in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. Matt’s character will be included in a season one episode that will air in February, according to TV Line.
Also included in Matt’s episode will be Zoe Perry, who portrayed the character Mary in Young Sheldon, and has already appeared in a few episodes of Georgie & Mandy. Doc Farrow is also set to reprise his role as Coach Wilkins, who is also Georgie’s best friend and co-worker, in the second half of Georgie & Mandy. It’s not clear which episode Coach Wilkins (Doc) will reappear in though.
