Netflix Is Finally Giving ‘Young Sheldon’ Fans the News They Have Been Waiting For

While the final season of the show is streaming on Max in the U.S., it was recently removed from Paramount+, but it will be arriving on Netflix on April 15, 2025, bringing the whole series together for those with Netflix subscriptions. The usual problems around licensing and rights ownership have meant that those waiting patiently for the season to be added to Netflix have had quite a long wait, but as always, good things come eventually.
Although the series originally aired on CBS, and has had various seasons spread across other streamers, the transition to Netflix has been a long and laborious process….were originally added to Netflix in November 2023, which saw it become one of the most watched shows on the streamer for months on end. Season 6 was added in February 2024, just ahead of Season 7 being aired on CBS, and it has now taken over a year for it to finally join the rest of the series, and the mother show, on the platform for subscribers to revisit anytime they like.

For nine sidesplitting seasons, the kooky Heck clan kept audiences endlessly entertained in the underrated sitcom gem ‘The Middle.’
When The Big Bang Theory came to a satisfying conclusion, there was a sense that the story was not over for Sheldon Cooper and his friends. That proved to be true with the arrival of Young Sheldon, and then Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. But could the franchise expand even further? The answer is yes, and the title of the next addition to the story has been revealed today.
Stuart Fails to Save the Universe will follow Kevin Sussman’s Stuart Bloom, the owner of the local comic book store frequented by Sheldon and Leonard in the original series. Although there has been little revealed about the plot of the new spinoff, we know that it will also feature Stuart’s girlfriend, Denise (Lauren Lapkus), geologist Bert (Brian Posehn) and Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie). Officially, the new spinoff has not been given the greenlight yet, but with this much detail already known, it seems very unlikely that it would simply be dropped considering the huge popularity of both the original series and its two spinoffs.
